Hello again!

So I have been crazy busy the past week or two! Just so much to get done before Christmas! Since I last posted, we babysat Soni while the Carters when to build a gingerbread house at the school. I just thought it might be easier for them to help the other kiddos if they didn't have to hold Soni the whole time...and I love keeping babies!! We also went to Matt's birthday party. Matt was one of the students I spent half my day with last year, while doing inclusion in Debbie's class. Matt means the world to me, and Jordan too! We had a good time and I can't wait to go see him over the break! This weekend we drove to Houston to watch the WYLIE PIRATES play in the State Championship! Yep, we packed up at 7:45 and headed for a long drive to Houston. I was in the front with Jeff, Larry and Carla (inlaws) were in the middle seat and Jo was in the very back. Jeff almost ruined my big suprise for him the night before! I was waiting for him to fall asleep so that I could shoe polish the car to death! I planned to completely deck out the car with Pirates and what not. Well the guy wouldn't just go to sleep! He was too pumped up to sleep! Finally I told him I had to go get my contact solution out of the car. Poor Cameron was kicked to the couch so we could have his bed, so he was still awake and came outside to help me. I forgot all my ribbons I was going to use on the door handles upstairs with Jeff so that didn't happen! But I didn't get all the windows done and Cam put the flag on the car. When we went out to get in the car the next morning, Jeff's reaction was "Holly cow! The shoe polish fairy visited! Cool!" He walked all around the car and thought it was cool. Except the dang cheap stuff ran with the morning dew. We grabbed a towel and when we stopped for gas, the windows were dry so we could clean up the mess and redo the writing. When we got back in the car, Jeff says "I feel so much better now that our words are fixed!" He wanted all the other Wylie people on the road to see us! haha! It was a pretty cool drive when every couple of miles you saw another car that was all decked out for the Pirates! We would either honk or wave or both! It was fun! Too bad the Pirates lost...the offense just really sucked it up. Deffense did great! But they needed help from the offense to win the game! Jordan and I had fun, he would ask me all kinds of questions throughout the game and I would teach him about football....yes, me! Can you believe it?! I hope I didn't screw him up! haha! We stopped at this amazing tex-mex place called Cafe Adobe in the Woodlands on our way home. That was our Christmas present from Larry and Carla. Works for us! Give us food and we are happy! Larry and I decided we need to make another trip out there just for the food! Jeff not so much, poor guy drove there and back and was so tired. We didn't help much when we all feel asleep on the way home!! All in all it was a good day--minus the Pirates and the Cowboys losing!

Last night we had Christmas with Jay and Reese. They came out to Royse City and we exchanged gifts and Jo and Jay played all night! Jeff slept on the couch! ha! We have a tradition that every year we buy each other a game. We used to play games all the time, but since they moved to Fort Worth, it has been difficult. But they will be back soon! They got Jo a racetrack and a dart nerf gun. I think Jay had more fun then Jordan! haha! It was a good night!

Well that is the "ketchup" version of what has been going on! We hope everyone has a MERRY CHRISTMAS!! If I had gotten my act together, you would have gotten Christmas cards from us, but I didn't so here it is!

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM HEATHER, JEFF AND JORDAN!

Dear Santa....

So... everytime we asked Jordan what he wanted for Christmas he would say "Cars and a Froggy tent". Of course he had the wish book for WalMart, Target and Toys R Us. He would go through each book and check the age, the price and how much you save if you buy it; if he liked it, he would circle it, if not he would put an X on it. But when you asked him and when he saw Santa on the train he wanted Cars and a Froggy Tent. Aubrey helped me find this crazy Froggy Tent he wanted so badly one night when she, Sam and I went shopping. I was giddy, b/c I found the 2 things he desperately wanted!!! I was on top of the world, b/c I knew Jordan would be so ecstatic.......I made the mistake of asking if he wanted to write a letter to Santa...Here's how it goes...
Dear Santa,
I want a Black(he made me capitalize it b/c he likes the 2 humps better) Spiderman car, a froggy tent, a skate board truck with an arena in it, a hot wheels track, another Legos lightning with doc and king. I also want the race track that goes with them. I want a Mickey Mouse race track set and a Mickey Mouse Club House with the persons, I mean characters (I promise, I didn't correct him! Too cute!). I have a lot on my mind. I want more DS video games and Wii video games just for when I have a Wii.
I want to know everything about being Santa Clause. What do you have to do when you are Santa? What does rudolph do everytime he has a shiney nose?
I have been a really good boy this year!
Love,
Jordan
Well Crap! He wants a lot now! hmmmm...

Chuga Chuga Choo Choooo

Santa came to Wylie on the Kansas City Express last week! We went, stood in line for an hour and a half! But we really enjoyed it!

Jordan says this is Thomas the Train dressed up as a candy cane!

This is Katy, they were in line in front of us. She told Jordan she loved him! It was pretty cute!

The last post about Twilight..........for awhile......

For those of you who didn't know...Aubrey, Sam and I went with some of their friends to see the midnight showing of Twilight on the 21st! We met up at 8:30 and went to dinner at Chipotle and headed off to get some cheap candy for the movie. We made it to the theatre a good 2 hours or more BEFORE the movie was to open. There weren't lines outside so we were really thinking we were good on time, until we got inside! There were 2 or 3 different lines. Ours ended up getting to go in at 10:30, well that is when we realized we were going in...and the theatre was nearly full at 10:30!!! We ended up having to sit in the 3rd row if we all wanted to sit together. Sam called her mom to let her know she could give her a full update on what the inside of Bella's nose looks like!

I didn't hate the movie, but I didn't love it either. I knew that it wouldn't be anywhere close to how amazing the book is, so I wasn't disspointed. I would go see it again if someone wanted to. I think I would love to watch it from the middle of the theatre!

Here is the group minus Sam and me. Sam was hiding from the camera and I was taking the picture!
Sorry Sam, this is the best we got...real flattering of the both of us huh? This was before all the "fun" began

Our first music program...a bit of a late post!

Here are the pictures from Jordan's first music program! He was such a ham. He danced his little booty off!

Check out his face while he is wiggling his bum!

I guess you can call us true fans!

So I have told you about the Twilight series that most everyone I know has read or is now reading. Well the first book, Twilight, is coming out in movie on the 21st of this month. I found out, from Charise, that Rob Pattinson who plays Edward, the main vampire in the story, is in town TODAY at the Hot Topic at the Galleria in Dallas. In order to get in to meet him you have to have a wristband. But they went on sale this morning at 6 am. Ok now to the good part...I went! Wait, don't get too excited, I didn't end up getting a band to meet him this afternoon. It was insane! I should have gotten one but there were phsyco people that took off running too early and pushed all us good people out of the way! My friend Amber and I drove to Dallas at 1 am and stood outside under the overpass for I635 across from the mall. We stood from this time until 6:20 this morning! It was crazy I tell you! When we got there, we were probably about 50th in line and only 500 got in. We were a shoe in! Even when it got messy and people were pushing forward we were safe to get in. This really was a team effort...Sam kept Jordan this morning so that I could do this crazy deed to get the both of us bands to come back to meet the guy that we don't really even like! haha It just seemed fun! Thanks Sam, YOU ROCK MY SOCKS! LOVE YER GUTS! Charise and her friend showed up and stood in another line to try and get us tickets. Amber and I had to hold on tight to each other to not get split! We ended up getting pushed out from under the overpass, which was alright b/c it made us move further up! But...at 4 am it started storming again...NOT SO GOOD! We got in an umbrella with two girls in front of us but it only kept our heads dry, we were SOAKED, STANDING ON A STREET CORNER, IN DOWNTOWN DALLAS! Sounds nice huh?! The police kept telling us that if you were running or pushing or anything you would get arrested and put in jail for 12 hours! We were on our best behavior! But when they let the STUPID PEOPLE FROM THE HILTON HOTEL LINE UP BEFORE US....THE HUGE MOB WE WERE IN TOOK OFF RUNNING AND ALL HOPE WAS LOST. =( We ended up getting up through this CRAZY mob and to the front again. I was almost face to face with a security quard for him to count me in the door and the Hot Topic manager comes over to tell the mob that "ALL BANDS ARE SOLD OUT! THERE ARE NO MORE BANDS TO BUY" I was so upset! All that suffering in the horrible weather for 5 hours and no sleep last night FOR NOTHING!!! But I do have to say, it was an experience I have never had, and I don't regret being a silly girl and taking a chance for Amber, Sam, Charise, Amanda, Candace and me to get in to see him! I was planning on surprising Staci with the shirt I was going to get autographed for Christmas. Edward is her FAVORITE character from the book! I think it would have been AWESOME!

But...Amber and I made the news!!! here is the link! After I watched in on the net, it was on the T.V. like 3 more times, and it didn't cut me off on the T.V.! haha Crazy Stuff I tell ya!!!

What in the world??

Saturday I talked Jeff into taking me to dinner and to see Fireproof (GREAT MOVIE BY THE WAY!!!) and we ended up being an hour early for our movie. We were walking around waiting and decided to sit and wait. We were sitting by the exit of the theatre and at one point you see a group going out the exit and before the door closes...2 teenage girls and a little boy come running in the doors. The girls are probably about 13-15 if that and the boy I would say was anywhere from 7-10. The girls are dressed very raunchy, showing their stomachs and short shorts. Each have a red bandana hanging out their back pockets. First I think..."Wow, sneaking into the movies and no regret" b/c they all walked into Highschool Musical 3. I complained to Jeff about the poor kids that are living this lifestyle, and then....The 2 girls come out of Highschool Musical and leave the boy their by himself. So not only did they sneak into the movie, but they left this young boy (who looks very tough mind you) alone at the theatre at 10 pm so that they could go do who knows what!!!! I just feel so sorry all them to have such lack of morals or for that fact parents to keep up with them. I'm sure the parents left the girls in charge and this happens all the time for this family. I just hate to see it. People shouldn't have kids if they aren't going to teach them right from wrong and take care of them. Believe me...if you had seen these kids, you would feel the same way...they are neglected. ARGGG
Ok, I'm going to step off that soap box for now! Thanks for listening and please pray for the many children that have to live this lifestyle!

Cute Jordan Moment!

Jordan has been complaining that his toe hurts for the past couple of days, but I couldn't find anything wrong with it. Finally I decide to look at his toenails...He had the beginnings of an ingrown townail. I cut it out and everything was fine. I told Jeff about it and that I cut it out, and Jordan says "You cut out my ANGRY TOENAIL? Wow!" =) Too cute!

Let's Catch Up!

HMMM It's been a while! I have some pictures from the past month to share with yall! My friend Jamie asked me to be in her wedding next year! I got to go dress shopping with the bride, her Daddy, her brother and Charise. Her dad was so excited he bought her the pink tank top and a hat that says "father of the bride". He was so pumped that he forgot to take the tag off the hat at first! Too cute!

Jordan's preschool had a Daddy and Me Rodeo at the beginning of the month. Jeff took a couple of pictures. Jordan talked about it for a week! Mom was jealous because Jeff got to go to the first event at Jordan's school...I PACK HIS LUNCH EVERDAY!!! I GET HIM DRESSED! And Jeff got to go?! I'm over it! Really I am! That's okay, b/c his Halloween party is next week and I am co-room mom!!

Stephanie and Nick got married this month. Jeff works with Stephanie. The wedding was beautiful and after the reception, they invited us to Southern Junction. The first picture is the awesome frame Sam made for me and I bought it from her Etsy shop. You should check it out... http://evenlyspaced.etsy.com/ Aubrey also has an etsy shop, but I don't want to post the site yet, b/c I want to buy something on it for Mom and I don't want her to see it! haha! They both have some really great personalized gifts!

We had our last tee ball game of the season yesterday. Jordan was perfect! We were so happy! I have to explain the last picture...The coach will sometimes move the tee so the kids can step on home plate when they get a run. If the coach forgets...Jordan will pick it up and step on the plate and then set it back down! Isn't it cute!?

After the game we told Jordan we would take him somewhere fun if he didn't cry...Carla, Jeff's mom, had told us there was some kind of carnival in Wylie by the junior high, so we decided to take Jo there. It was called Convoy of Hope, when we walked in the handed both Jeff and I a yellow ticket for free groceries. They told us "Overr there was free hot dogs and ice cream, over here is the free kids zone, up there is free health care, hair cuts and clothes and at the very end take your ticket to the blue and white tent for your free groceries." We had no idea what was going on, we just assumed we would let Jordan play for a bit and go through the free groceries and pick up a few things and go home. When we go to the free groceries, they gave us each 8 bags of groceries...we left with 16 bags of groceries and 3 bags of hotdogs and buns! It was crazy! We had to get 8 green bags and 8 red bags. Each colored bag had about the same items in them, so we came home with: 8 cans of salt, 8 cans of pork and beans, 8 cans of veg-al, 8 cans of spagetti sauce, 8 cans of diced potatoes, 8 boxes of HoneyMoon ceral, 8 jars of hot sauce, 8 boxes of mac and cheese, 8 boxes of granola bars, 16 differnt kinds of noodles...a whole lot more but I can think of everything right now! We have groceries for the whole neighborhood! I made Sam come over and get some! I guess we will both be taking some to work. There is so much that we don't have room in our pantry! I was putting dishes away and opened the cabinet for bowls and found pork and beans! Oh my, how long will this last?

Well...

It's been a week or so since I posted. A lot has happened. I was sent, rather driven, home from work last Friday from work b/c my blood pressure was too high. The only time I had blood pressure issues was my last month of pregnancy. NO! I AM NOT PREGNANT! So I went home and Sam came over to "heathersit" me while Jeff and Jordan when to the big exciting Wylie Pirate game. All weekend my blood pressure was high. It was never under 140/90. So I went to the doctor on Monday. It wasn't high then! haha That's how it always works. Thanks to Sam for watching Jordan for me. He did blood work and all that turned out to be okay. My cholesterol is a little higher than it should be, but they aren't worried about that. They decided that it is either stress induced or hereditary. I had to start meds that make me feel crazy. I hate them! I can't focus on anything. Like right now, I should be working on homework or school work, but I'm not! I will probably stop working on this and go do that in a few minutes. That is how my life has been this week. I now know what it feels like to have ADHD. I feel for those poor kids that have it. It also made me fell like my body was dragging. It is like two extremely opposite feelings at the same time. Not Fun! Well today I called to tell my dr. that my blood pressure had leveled out on the low dose of the meds and told them how it makes me feel. She said she would talk to the dr. and call me back. She called back right away and said...STOP TAKING THE MEDS!!!! I was jumping for joy in my classroom. Melodie, one of the teachers I share a room with, was laughing at me! She said to see if my blood pressure goes up without the meds and if it does she called in water pills for me to start taking. Don't really know what they are, some have said they are like a diaretic, so that won't be such a bad deal! hahahaha She did tell me that they won't have any side effects! That is awesome!
Not only has this been going on with me, but I had to take Jordan to the Dr. b/c I thought he might cough out a lung...He has RSV and there is nothing to give him. His body just has to work through it. Poor baby. It makes me feel so bad for him when he starts that nasty coughing.

Whew...What a week! I will keep ya updated on the blood pressure thing!

Cute Jordan moment: (mom told me to blog about this one!)
Man! There are so many lately. It is official, Jordan has gotten too smart! No really, he has!
He was sitting in my lap this afternoon at mom's house and started his nasty coughing. I said to mom "We really won't be going to t-e-e-b-a-l-l tomorrow." And she said "and not the g-a-m-e tonight right?" Jordan was quite for a minute and said..."But I really want to play in my teeball game tomorrow." WHOA!!!! This kid scares me. There was nothing said before about teeball or games or anything. SO NOW I CAN'T EVEN SPELL IN FRONT OF MY KID TO HIDE THINGS!

It's October

Well it is October 1st if you didn't already know that! Today is mine and Jeff's 9 year anniversary from the last official time we started dating! Does that make sense to all of you! TEE HEE! We were "boyfriend and girlfriend" when we were younger b/c it was cool to have a boyfriend. We "went out" in 5th grade and 7th and 8th and broke up and started "going out" again freshman year...and here we are today! I love him still! haha
I guess I can take some pictures of our old pictures and post them! Don't make fun!

This is us at our first highschool dance...It was not our first dance together, our first one was in 7th grade and we got a limo...yes I was/am spoiled!

This was the homecoming dance...I think the only year we went b/c they were lame! Freshman year of highschool...man, I guess I was kinda cute then braces, big bangs and all!

Same weekend and I look totally different! haha! Look at my mum freshman year...I said I was spoiled right!

Needless to say, I still love my husband! He and Jordan are the lights of my lives and I know I don't tell them enough!
