Sorry...

I know I haven't posted in a LONG TIME...but I still don't have time to sit down and catch you up! I do have to share this stinkin cute experience at teeball yesterday. It was not my kid, in fact, we have only had 3 practices so I don't even know the kid's name, but it was funny!

Our coach is extremly organized and a great coach. He has two assistants and breaks the kids up into groups and rotates them after the first couple of warm ups. One of the warm ups was game where the kids get in a line at short stop and he hit a ground ball to them. In his words "if you field the ball cleanly, you get to go back to the line; if not, you have to sit out." The first kid steps up and coach hits the ball. The kid catches the ball and yells..."IT FEELS CLEAN!" So stinkin cute!!! I guess the coach didn't realize he needed to explain the phrase first!

Anyway, that is about all I have time for tonight...or I guess this morning. I'm tired and need to get to bed. I will get some pictures posted soon and play "ketchup" again!

P.S. Wish Jeff a Happy Birthday on Friday!

P.S.S Jordan isn't crying at teeball this season...well he cried a little today, but not about teeball. I sent him to go get a ball and somebody took it from him. All was good in a minute flat...nothing like his frist season of teeball! Pray it stays great!

I've decided!

My family needs a Wii! I know what you may think; it is just a gaming system really and we have a PS2 from when I was in high school that still works, Jordan has the original Nintendo that Uncle Jay and Aunt Reese gave him, oh and Jordan got a Nintendo DS from Nana and Staci for his 4th birthday! But really we NEED a Wii.
My sister stayed the night with us and brought along her Wii last night...yes it is very portable! Although, she did totally forget the actual controllers you kind of have to have to play the dang thing; but it was okay, Cameron from next door saved the day!!! He brought over not only his controllers, but I pleaded for him to bring his Mario Kart game and wheels too! OH MY GOSH!!! WE NEED A WII!! I say this for my physical and emotional mentality! It gives you a great workout, that's the physical part...But it was also the most free fun Jeff and I had together in the longest time! Not to mention, I was finally able to beat him in bowling in our lifetimes! Just because it was not real, does not mean I did not beat him!!! And of course I had to do my little happy dance every time I did good! We laughed and laughed...my poor sister shut the door so she could get some sleep around 10:30 but ya know... We just had too much fun and I think we NEED one!

Rants and Raves for the week so far!

Let's start with some good stuff!
I took Jordan to builderbear (build a bear) for his Valentine's present and he had so much fun! He named it Jo =) I will take a picture of him and Jo when he gets feeling better and post it.

We ate a Texas Road House Friday night...great food! One of our favorites, if you haven't been, you need to try it!

We went to Ashton's birthday party on Saturday. Ashton is Jordan's new sitter's son; they are the same age and get along really well!

Cam Cam's baseball team had a dinner, silent auction and live auction event on Saturday that seemed to earn them a lot of money for the season! We had a good time and Jordan was very well behaved!

Now I need to rant...
Jordan has the flu! Not fun!

When I went to fill his tamaflu at CVS they let me turn it in and go home to wait 3 hours, just to find out they were all out of tamaflu and have been all week! Wonderful!
Walmart did have Tamaflu for $75!!!!!!!! My gosh! This sucks!

It is bittersweet that I am home for at least 3 days with Jo, but I have no more days at work so I am getting docked and his Valentine's party is Thursday, don't know if we will be able to make it =(

The stupid campus bookstore at Commerce had their shelf labeled wrong for one of my classes and I bought the wrong book. I had a quiz due Monday night and realized I had the wrong book on Sunday night!

I went to explain what had happened to the bookstore manager and she was a word I should not post for the world to read! I wanted to hop over her little desk and beat her with the unneeded textbook! But I didn't, instead I had to sell the book back for a measly $24 when I bought it last week for $115. Then I had to turn around and buy the right book for $105. Don't you just love that? ARGGG

Jordan's fever got up to 104.5 last night and Jeff and I were freaking!

The President's speech thing last night ruined the dvr recording of The Bachelor so now Sam and I will have to watch it on the computer with no skipping commercials!!!

Let's end with some more Raves...
The girl working the counter at the bookstore felt bad for me and gave me $20 pay for the book. I felt bad taking it, but she says she understands this stuff isn't fair and she does it all the time.

Sam and Aubrey have been real helpful with the stupid fever issue and have been super sweet calling to check on Jo the past couple of days.

Mrs. Kayla, the new sitter, is too sweet. When I called to let her know Jordan had the flu she told me that the kids had already decided they wanted to make brownies when Jordan did get to come back to make him feel better! Isn't that just so sweet!?

Sorry this post was a little different that normal, but that is what has consumed our lives this week! 12 hours of school and 40 hours of work just doesn't leave me much time to post, but I will try! We will be started teeball again this season so I will have some cute pictures to post then!!

Fire Me!

Okay BlogWorld...I need to be fired! I haven't posted since...BEFORE Christmas! Let me fill you in first by the few pictures I might have taken...
Christmas 2008
Here is the big bed Santa brought and built for him!

I know you have all be just dying to see THE froggy tent that Jordan was obsessing over before Christmas!! Here it is...it took up the whole living room!

Check out his face when he saw it! Priceless!

When he saw the Hulk Hands he said, and I quote "Look guys! I got something I didn't order!" Yes, now Santa takes orders! Yep, that is my greedy child! He shows the signs of the "only child syndrom".

Sad day at the Buckley house turned it to a cute picture day for Harley and Marley. We had Jay and Reese, Kevin and Jamie and Cam Cam and his girlfriend Paige over to watch the Cowboys' last game. Had they won, it would have been their ticket to the playoffs, but that didn't happen. Anyway, Jay and Reese had been in Wylie for a week so the dogs were with them when they came. Harley is so scared of other dogs it is ridiculous! Here is Marley (who is 1/8 of Harley's size) trying so hard to play with Harley. The pictures turned out cute!

This New Year's Eve I FINALLY GOT TO SEE MY MAN...CHRIS CAGLE!!! Every year, for the past 3 years, I have wanted to go see him at Billy Bob's! It was great! Jeff and Jay were so sweet, as soon as we got there, they took us out to the crowded dance floor (if you know them, this doesn't happen often!). Jeff kept turning me around and round so I could see Chris Cagle!

So since New Years I had decided not to take classes this semester b/c of the lack of money. I was however going to be a TA for my science professor from last semester. When he found out I wasn't taking classes, he informed me that I could not TA. Crap! I was going to make $600 doing that! Well, to make a long stressful story short...he found me some scholarship money!! Not only did I get signed up for classes and it will get paid for, being his TA will count for the second half of the course I took with him last semester and I will get paid! YAY! God is good all the time!

Well that is the short version of the last month! I will TRY to post more often, but no promises!

Hello again!

So I have been crazy busy the past week or two! Just so much to get done before Christmas! Since I last posted, we babysat Soni while the Carters when to build a gingerbread house at the school. I just thought it might be easier for them to help the other kiddos if they didn't have to hold Soni the whole time...and I love keeping babies!! We also went to Matt's birthday party. Matt was one of the students I spent half my day with last year, while doing inclusion in Debbie's class. Matt means the world to me, and Jordan too! We had a good time and I can't wait to go see him over the break! This weekend we drove to Houston to watch the WYLIE PIRATES play in the State Championship! Yep, we packed up at 7:45 and headed for a long drive to Houston. I was in the front with Jeff, Larry and Carla (inlaws) were in the middle seat and Jo was in the very back. Jeff almost ruined my big suprise for him the night before! I was waiting for him to fall asleep so that I could shoe polish the car to death! I planned to completely deck out the car with Pirates and what not. Well the guy wouldn't just go to sleep! He was too pumped up to sleep! Finally I told him I had to go get my contact solution out of the car. Poor Cameron was kicked to the couch so we could have his bed, so he was still awake and came outside to help me. I forgot all my ribbons I was going to use on the door handles upstairs with Jeff so that didn't happen! But I didn't get all the windows done and Cam put the flag on the car. When we went out to get in the car the next morning, Jeff's reaction was "Holly cow! The shoe polish fairy visited! Cool!" He walked all around the car and thought it was cool. Except the dang cheap stuff ran with the morning dew. We grabbed a towel and when we stopped for gas, the windows were dry so we could clean up the mess and redo the writing. When we got back in the car, Jeff says "I feel so much better now that our words are fixed!" He wanted all the other Wylie people on the road to see us! haha! It was a pretty cool drive when every couple of miles you saw another car that was all decked out for the Pirates! We would either honk or wave or both! It was fun! Too bad the Pirates lost...the offense just really sucked it up. Deffense did great! But they needed help from the offense to win the game! Jordan and I had fun, he would ask me all kinds of questions throughout the game and I would teach him about football....yes, me! Can you believe it?! I hope I didn't screw him up! haha! We stopped at this amazing tex-mex place called Cafe Adobe in the Woodlands on our way home. That was our Christmas present from Larry and Carla. Works for us! Give us food and we are happy! Larry and I decided we need to make another trip out there just for the food! Jeff not so much, poor guy drove there and back and was so tired. We didn't help much when we all feel asleep on the way home!! All in all it was a good day--minus the Pirates and the Cowboys losing!

Last night we had Christmas with Jay and Reese. They came out to Royse City and we exchanged gifts and Jo and Jay played all night! Jeff slept on the couch! ha! We have a tradition that every year we buy each other a game. We used to play games all the time, but since they moved to Fort Worth, it has been difficult. But they will be back soon! They got Jo a racetrack and a dart nerf gun. I think Jay had more fun then Jordan! haha! It was a good night!

Well that is the "ketchup" version of what has been going on! We hope everyone has a MERRY CHRISTMAS!! If I had gotten my act together, you would have gotten Christmas cards from us, but I didn't so here it is!

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM HEATHER, JEFF AND JORDAN!

Dear Santa....

So... everytime we asked Jordan what he wanted for Christmas he would say "Cars and a Froggy tent". Of course he had the wish book for WalMart, Target and Toys R Us. He would go through each book and check the age, the price and how much you save if you buy it; if he liked it, he would circle it, if not he would put an X on it. But when you asked him and when he saw Santa on the train he wanted Cars and a Froggy Tent. Aubrey helped me find this crazy Froggy Tent he wanted so badly one night when she, Sam and I went shopping. I was giddy, b/c I found the 2 things he desperately wanted!!! I was on top of the world, b/c I knew Jordan would be so ecstatic.......I made the mistake of asking if he wanted to write a letter to Santa...Here's how it goes...
Dear Santa,
I want a Black(he made me capitalize it b/c he likes the 2 humps better) Spiderman car, a froggy tent, a skate board truck with an arena in it, a hot wheels track, another Legos lightning with doc and king. I also want the race track that goes with them. I want a Mickey Mouse race track set and a Mickey Mouse Club House with the persons, I mean characters (I promise, I didn't correct him! Too cute!). I have a lot on my mind. I want more DS video games and Wii video games just for when I have a Wii.
I want to know everything about being Santa Clause. What do you have to do when you are Santa? What does rudolph do everytime he has a shiney nose?
I have been a really good boy this year!
Love,
Jordan
Well Crap! He wants a lot now! hmmmm...
